Mabuhay ( To Life! ) It's More Fun in the Philippines! Since 1986 we, Bill, Lorna and our daughter Camilla have welcomed world travelers from 93 countries , Filipino balikbayans from around the world & Filipinos from Luzon, the Visayas & Mindanao in our guest house style Townhouse Hotel Manila near all 4 Manila airport terminals!! Since 1995 we have provided budget travelers an affordable place to stay at Casa Camilla Boracay Apartments, our home on the beach on Boracay Isand's famous white sand beach front.

Please Take Note: Avoid being overcharged by Manila taxi drivers using the links above.
Do not expect Manila taxi drivers to know where you are going as maybe 50% are from the provinces and the other 50% are from 1 of Metro-Manila's 16 cities so have little or no idea about the landmarks in the other 15 cities. Try to avoid taking parked taxis as they tend to waiting for a victim to over charge so take taxis in motion who tend to be more honest and too busy working honoring the taxi meter fare. Take my wife's advice: If taxi driver attempts to over charge you, upon arrival walk through our Townhouse Hotel Manila front entrance gate, lock it then hand the right payment listed above so the taxi can get angry instead of you and instruct him to go file a barangay complaint or to the police; what do you think the consequences will be when he complains saying I tried to over charge them for P500 and they refused to pay?

2019 Update Take Note: Use GrabTaxi with GPS to avoid being over charged by Manila taxis. Scroll down & read carefully for important Manila arrival information. Enjoy your stay in the Philippines.Your comments, reviews and advice are welcome! Happy Travels, Bill, Lorna & Camilla

You will see a group of Townhouses to the right, the 3rd unit is our Unit 11 our check-in counter reception with 6 fan cooled private rooms and our 6 bed dormitory with flags and our healthy mango tree in front.

Option 1 ) TAXIS from: NAIA 1( mostly Foreign International Airlines / Taxi Meter Fare P95), NAIA 2( mostly Philippine Airlines( Taxi P100), NAIA 3 (mostly Cebu Pacific Airlines & Discount airlines booked on-line / Taxi Fare P120 ) and NAIA 4 ( mostly AirAsia & Tiger Airlines) / Taxi Meter fare only P80).

Option 2 ) walk outside NAIA 1 terminal to the right down the ramp to the small Roofed "Bus" Stop or from NAIA 2 walk to the left and ask guards where to take the Jeepney "MIA Terminal 1-2" sign on windshield or signage on side of the jeepney body "Baclaran NAIA Domestic MIA" which also passes by NAIA 4 in front of termninal exit on "Domestic Road" ( no signage ). the jeepney will turn left on Airport Road's round-a-bout go straight to first stoplight at Quirino Ave, turn left , go straight, pass a Petron Gas Station on the right ( get out on 2nd street to the right, Bayview Drive but no signage )and the former Pearl Plaza Mini-Mall large building to the left, then knock on jeepney ceiling say "Para" meaning "stop, I want out" at JB Store on corner with big CAMEL Sign, walk straight 2 blocks ( 300+ meters withOUT paying attention to the locals .FROM NAIA 3, walk out the Exit Door to the left straight ahead maybe 6 minutes and look for a Jeepney that Says Baclaran MRT LRT at left side of round-a-bout and get out at Stoplights Roxas Blvd & Airport Road, walk less than 1 km maybe 10 minutes up Roxas Blvd to your left to Villa Carolina Townhouse #11, passing Petron &Shell gas station on your left and City of Dreams Casino on the right It took me 36 minutes with a light daypack and I paid P7. There is also an air-conditioned AIRPORT LOOP BUS for only P20 which can drop you at the same spot in Baclaran on intersection/ stoplights of Airport Road & Roxas Blvd less than a km away.

MANILA ARRIVAL from Four Airport Terminals:
Usually we advise our guests to take one of the Taxi / Transport services which is after immigration and customs and just outside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport ( NAIA ).

1. Outside of Ninoy Aquino International Airport Road( NAIA Road ), after the second set of sliding glass doors, look to the left for a line / queue to a transport booth for metered taxi, last time I arrived I paid P112
At the Taxi booth, give our address: Villa Carolina Townhouse, Roxas Blvd. # 31 Bayview Drive, Tambo, Paranaque, Metro-Manila, Philippines. we are only 10 minutes from all 4 airports and one minute from Bayview Towers on Roxas Blvd.

Stress "Tambo" so they know the location is near the airport. You will be given a receipt which you must sign when you arrive at The Townhouse Hotel!

OR From all 4 airports, you tell the taxi driver to follow NAIA Road & turn Right on Roxas Blvd until Bayview Tri-Towers Condominiums is on your right.
You're 1 minute away!

Continue straight on Roxas 150 meters. Turn Right on the first small street, Bayview Drive. The Townhouse is 30 meters ahead on your left. WELCOME "HOME" !!

OR - You can use our Townhouse Airport Service: Please specify which Airport Terminal or Airline you arrived as there are 4 Manila Terminals and describe yourself, clothing & luggage, suitcase or backpack. We' ve had problems meeting new arrivals at the International Airport ( NAIA ) because of its design but we are more than happy to pick you up at the Arrival Extension Area . If we're not home call to request our driver to pick you up or please follow the directions above.

1. Change a little money inside the airport be sure and ask for small change in P1 peso coins for the phone. Okay?

2. At NAIA 1 ( All foreign International Airlines ) when you first go outside the airport you can not see this area. You go through the second set of sliding glass doors and see a 4+ lane road with a dividing island. Whether you exit on the right or the left move toward the center and walk across the 4 lanes ,proceed downward, turn left or right continue downward on the sloping ramp.

At the other 3 terminals, NAIA  2 ( Philippines Airlines ) NAIA 3 ( Cebu Pacific Airlines ) and NAIA 4 ( AirAsia/Zest Airlines & Tiger Airlines )when you exit just wait as for our driver, Robert ( Take Note drivers come and go ) in Blue Pajero or Blue Delica Van 7 passenger Van

3. In the middle are phones where you can call us. 854-3826, 854-1435, 854-1436, TEL 854-0161, Bill's Cell # 0922-841-5540 and Lorna's Cell # 0928-250-1275.Our front entrance door / gate is only 2+ - 3+ km or 1+ - 2+ miles away from all three Manila airport terminals but with the traffic and security check points it takes 10 -20 minutes. Look for a Medium Blue Delica Van or Blue Pajero. We charge P140 for 1 or 2 persons and P160 for 3 or 4 persons and P180 for 5, 6 or 7 persons needing our Blue Delica 7 passenger van . Email us your arrival / check-in time & date  and which type of room you prefer bill_lorna@yahoo.com or  townhousemanila@msn.com or lorna_ec@hotmail.com

Arrival by ship from Manila's North Harbor
The taxis at Manila's north harbor are worse than the Manila airports, with most taxi drivers asking from P300 to P1000 so if you're not too loaded down or traveling with a companion who could stay with your luggage, walk out to the main north harbor street in front of Pier 16 turn right, walk straight ( about 3 blocks or 500 meters) then turn left & right to the public street and get a taxi from there; it will cost P120 to P150 to our place but if one of the taxis just outside will accept P200 then take it. When the taxi driver asks where you are going, say Baclaran ( other landmarks are Coastal Mall and Bayview Towers ) which is straight ahead and down Roxas Blvd about 15KM ( 9 miles ); when you pass Luneta Park you're half way. Go all the way to NAIA Road ( Ninoy Aquino International Airport Road pronounced "nah ee ah" )then take a U-Turn going back the same way you came, stay to the right 300 meters turn right on the first small street, Bayview Drive ( you will see a small sign Townhouse - Rooms For Rent ). WELCOME! and make yourself  "at home"! Happy Travels to all and Share the Joy of Life!! William ( Bill ), Lorna & Camilla
